Little bit of forgotten In Flagranti love, one of those crossover nu-disco acts that eased me in from the electro days of old. I’d seen In Flagranti in random mixtapes and kitsune compilations before, but they never quite caught my eye until Erol Alkan applied his patented Simple But Effective Disco 3000 editing skills to their track Brash & Vulgar. He didn’t even really change much, he just added some loops and extended it a bit to make it more friendly to his dj sets. In Flagranti have many other well known gems, these are just some of the less known. Look them up and you’ll discover a whole world of kitschy electro-funk.

This little ditty skipped me by back in 2006/2007, funny how 5 years later it sounds fresh..

Im still not sure how I feel about Moombahton the “new” genre to come out of DC by Dave Nada and being blown up by Dillion Francis. Its slowed down reggaeton or dutch house to give it an almost deep house lounge feel to it… but i have been finding a few songs lately that I’ve enjoying.

I was gonna wait till sunday to share this song, but i woke up in a good mood and I know some of my friends are probably very hung over from last nights adventures at U31. This last week I’ve been catching up on a lot of movies that have past me buy in the last few years (thank you netflix), “The Good Night” by Jake Paltrow which is Gwyneth Paltrow’s little brother.
